... is a network of free-lance simultaneous and conference interpreters founded by Heike Schomburg with colleagues in 1991 after she completed her studies at the Institute of Languages and Interpreting in Munich.
As a free-lance simultaneous and conference interpreter, Heike Schomburg serves various clients both in Germany and abroad and runs the eurolingua network on her own authority. She is a member of VKD - Germany's professional association for conference interpreters, which is part of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ), and a Kudo Certified Interpreter (for remote simultaneous interpreting).
Within the eurolingua network clients have access to highly qualified, specialised, and experienced conference and simultaneous interpreters. As a service provider, eurolingua is responsible for organising, booking, and assigning teams of interpreters, serves as a contact and facilitator for PA companies, clients and colleagues and provides guidance and resources to clients to ensure a smooth conduct of their events.
